A bit surprised by the question, I replied, "The power to be the living, breathing, body of Christ. The power to be an ambassador of truth. The power to be a witness of resurrection life... the highest version of YOU!"
I named my signature work 'The Power to BE' based on Acts 1:8. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will BE my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
That "But" at the beginning speaks volumes! Jesus is saying in effect, don't worry about on how you're going to DO, I will give you power to BE.
Why does God empower us to BE instead of DO?
Because doing is the fruit of BEing.
We see in Genesis 1:28 that God commands us to be fruitful before doing and having. You are a triune, integrated, being of consciousness.
The Power to BE a witness of resurrection life and live out the truth of who you are is available to you no matter where you find yourself along the way.
In the stillness, He is there.
